As new cafes are being launched day by day in the newly populated, well developed Bahria Town Islamabad Phase 7, one of the most recent and eye catching cafe that opened nearby my residence is the Slider Zone Cafe.

The interesting thing to notice about this cafe  is that, its one of its kind. Because its got a small conveyor belt right attached to the open kitchen from where it's delicious juicy burger are handed over to its hungry costumers via the automatic conveyor belt giving a uniqueness to the service.

Its Burgers are the icon, ranging from the simple one to its most stuffed Emperor Tower Burger, piled up of 6 burgers. which offered only on the basis of challenge. if you accept the challenge and end it within 5 min, your name would be enlisted there in the Hall of Fame.

A good marketing initiative to attract its costumers and that to involve them into their food eateries.

Its burger are all standard sized but filled with delicious, juicy and unique components and elements which are needed in a burger by every costumer.

It does not only serve's burgers, but also does serve a couple of delicious juicy thick steaks.

Its Shakes in the Drinks section are exquisite and one of the demanding yet by its costumers.

Trail 5's addictive Snack-bar

While living in the Switzerland of Pakistan, The Capital Islamabad, i believe not much people around would have ever not visited the trails of Margallas. Specially the most beautiful trail, Trail 5. Which is full of beautiful wildlife to mingle with and to experience it.

While many of us when visit this trail to hike, mostly in the early morning or in the mid of the day, do enjoy the moments and the hike there, we all do usually get tired on our return.

Obviously, your hunger and thirst is the first priority to diminish, you have to get rid of it anyways.

But have you ever noticed the Snack-bar (Khoka) right at the corner there in the car parking lot? if not, you should take it into notice!

Why? Because it serves one of the most delicious Chai and Spicy Crispy Pakoras in Town.

Its Ilaichi (Cardamom) wali Chai cannot be comparable with any other chai around the locality.

and its Crispy yet Spicy Pakoras are a wonderful combination with that Chai.

The Rate of that Mind Blowing Tea is Rs.30 per cup, and 

The Rate of those Crispy Tasty Pakoras is Rs.60 per plate.

They also have a very good sitting area for its costumer there below in the jungle giving you a natural environment all around, where you can enjoy a good time having these snacks along your family and friends.

Ginyaki Islamabad

Gotta say people, I’ve found myself my new favorite spot for oriental food!Went to Ginyaki Islamabad yesterday. As me and my friend was craving for Chinese .We ordered two deluxe bowls, dumpling and  a soft drink.Mongolian beef: This was  clearly star of the show for me. The beef was tender and juicy and had the perfect blend of sweet and spicy with a visible undertone of garlic. Honestly, this is the last beef I’ve ever had at a Chinese eatery.Dragon Chicken: This dish was the best of all. The sweet and tangy sauce went pretty well with the tender chicken and sesame seeds. Tasted great with both noodles and rice. Definetly worth getting every time.

The environment, food, service quality and everything was too good. I am surely looking forward to visit them again and try new dishes available in the menu. I must say that if a person visits this place once he or she will start visting it more frequently because of there taste and the environment they provide you

Chayee khana jhelum

This is a beautiful addition to jhelum nearby located with immense parking. The restaurant is clean and wide and comfortable seating
The food's quality with tasty fresh cakes side snacks and one think i like the most is numerous warm and cold beverages. Also, they have a free tea for ladies day on every tuesday which is a great offer to get women and big family and friends.

Excellent building, food, atmosphere and friendly staff. I'm only marking down as they don't have the facilties to accept card payments. But I

must say environment was very peaceful. It's a good place for family outing or outing with friends. Tea was also good but toast was just fine. Delivery was good. Soft Music and relax seats. I will not say about taste because it was just fine.

The kabul restraunt in f-7. Providing one of the best and the most tasty Afghani food in f-7 Islamabad. It is located just near the safa gold mall and Jinnah super.  People often become hungry after doing the shopping so they look for a place from where they can eat some good food. So kabul restraunt is the one people should look for.
They are providing the best kabuli pulao in the town. Including the kabuli pulao there lamb bbq is also very tasty which they serve with a green chatni that makes it even more tasty. They have just included the steam roast in there menu which I have tried recently and  can simply say that they are providing simply one of the most delicious steam roast as well. Adding steam roast helped them to increase the option in there menu so the people in family who do not likes to eat lamb bbq can order a steam roast for themselves
Other than the food they have provided an outstanding sitting environment. You can easily go there with your families. And if you also want to enjoy the beauty of nature as well while having your food the kabul restraunt also provides you with the open sitting area where you can easily enjoy the beauty of nature with food

Mindanos f-6 islamabad

Me and my friend decided to visit mindanos which is located in f6.It was our first experience there.

The place was modestly lit but not too dark with a lively music playing at the back and people laughing and enjoying their time       

They also have an open air place, just in case you want to enjoy their the air .

Coming to the menu , it had a good variety from Chinese to thai to pastas and what not    Every food item from savoury to dessert was so mouth watering and so fresh .

Their customer service is extremely good Also these guys are super quick at providing service. A great family environment .A place with great food as well as a perfect gateway spot .An amazing place to bond with family and friends.We did not regret visiting this place and is looking forward to visit this place more.

Burger Fest - Lets Meat!

Went to Burger Fest F7 Markaz after all the hype and man it was really amazing experience. We had to wait half an hour due to heavy amount of orders. Funny thing was that a cute boy in his early teenage was receiving the orders. I guess he was owner’s son. He was so quick in taking orders. Staff is efficient and you can watch the whole process of making burgers. A friend once told me about this place and their affordable prices. There was no place to sit like there were no table and chairs but oh main when it came it was love at first sight!

We ordered grilled chicken and grilled beef burger for just 750/- Both were sufficient filled and juicy served. Grilled burger was too good. Freakin’ amazing quantity, quality and taste. Sauces were spot on. Loved every bit of it!💯

I can safely say that it crushed Howdy’s burger. They are doing a great job for so less.

Now Burger feast going to be on my hit list. Will be looking forward to trying more from this place.

BUTT KARAHI

Everyone knows we should eat for survive but if it comes to me I survive for eat. This love for food keeps me busy from one place to another. One place is which is popular just for its karahi is one of the most popular and old karahi shop is Butt Karahi which is situated in the heart of the Lakshmi Chowk. This chowk is popular just for this karahi shop. So, once I decided to go there with my friends but when I reached Lakshmi chowk there were lot of shops whose name were but karahi. First, I was confused but then I asked from an old person who sit there from a long-time a time. He pointed out towards the original shop and then we went there. it was true that no karahi taste like Butt Karahi because the taste, the smell of making the chicken in butter that was awesome.one thing that was awesome about that is wait for the karahi is difficult but that wait has a worth because more you wait more you become hungry about the karahi  I cannot forget the taste of that karahi because I had not taste that karahi before that and now I can say that one who didn’t eat that Butt karahi hasn’t taste anything in his life. One thing that need to mention is that beware of that shops who use their name just for their earning but do not maintain that quality which is famous just in Butt karahi

Thirst of food keeps a person busy in search of some delicious and worth foods. And a person like me who cannot live without eating always keeps me busy in search of that kind of food. My hunger of food one day takes me to the Phaja Siri Paye which is situated in the back side of Badshahi Mosque. This place is famous for its breakfast. And it is said that the start of the day of a Lahori is depend upon the breakfast. According to my point of view the whole day depends upon the breakfast of a person. So, I think Phaja Siri Paye is the best place to start your day. The taste of that Siri Paye has no replacement because no one can make the taste like that. Phaja Siri Paye is one of the oldest shop in Lahore and situated near the historical places which is a specialty of that place. It is said that phaja has a magic in his hand and I think it is true because a person like me who can tell from the smell of the food that how good is the food is convinced in such a way that I cannot like any other Siri Paye except that shop. The taste, the gravy and the smell of that food remind me the taste of that food again and again. And I think if a person lives in Lahore and haven’t tried Phaja Siri Paye then he hasn’t tried the real taste of food.

Hey Guys! I found a new Eatery in Town.

Lebanese Rotisserie:

What do you get into your mind when you hear about the word Lebanese rotisserie? Lebanese food? right!

Now you must be thinking that where is this restaurant situated? so its easily accessible for ones living in this beautiful capital of our country Pakistan.

Lebanese Rotisserie is located in sector F10 in Markaz right at its back, adjacent to Jameel Sweets. i guess the location for the Isloo citizens is clear enough! right? now lets jump into its details:

This Lebanese Rotisserie is being handled by a female who is herself an owner to this eatery. she has an excellent experience in Lebanese cuisine as well as she is herself a very artistic cook who adds a unique texture and flavor to the Pakistani dishes.

 Their main course Menu includes both the Pakistani and Lebanese foods items at a vast variety, some of their most liked food dishes are described below:

Their first and foremost special Lebanese dish is the Rotisserie chicken, which is fully grilled with scrumptious spices of the Lebanese taste and origin, giving a pure Arabic taste, which delights ones taste buds with craziness. Then their second most Lebanese food dish which is loved by most of the foodies is the Shish Touk. This dish contains some of the pure quality boneless chicken pieces marinated in aromatic garlic and in a zesty lemon juice on skewers which is grilled to a juicy chicken. which is served with choice of rice, khubus which is their special baked flat bread, Hummus which is purely made of mashed chickpeas into a thick salty puree and a sauce of many varieties.

Then the third most tasty food of their Lebanese cuisine is their Kebab Mashwi which is basically based on a pure prime beef mince. It is grilled on skewers, marinated in mild spices and scrumptious aromatic herbs, and further grilled on hot flaming charcoal, creating a smoky flavor and aroma, which would hypnotize a person in an instant!.

Their Handi is full with awesome flavors, with a thick gravy, infused with butter and cream which give's a delightful creamy flavor. this dish is served with fresh baked Naans. Then at the second, they serve a smoky Tawa Fish. this fish is way too soft, sweet in flavor and is grilled in lemon zest which gives an exquisite and a crazy flavor to the foodies. it is also further served with Naan and a fresh Plum sauce enhancing its flavor into a unique experience which one always remember's. In the end, the third most Desi food that is loved by its food lovers is the Mutton Shank Nihari which is served with fresh Naan too. This Nihari no doubt is way too hard to handle! in a sense, its taste just makes an individual go crazy. this mutton shank is way too juicy and soft, along a thin gravy which is full of spices of its kind. i bet, you just taste it once, you'll crave for more and keeping craving furthermore. Well, overall, this restaurant basically deals in both Lebanese and Pakistani cuisines, moreover focusing on Lebanese cuisine as it spells.

I would personally suggest each of you to visit this restaurant, if you wanna taste something Lebanese and off the regular food course.

Kulfi Lovers Take Notice !!! ( Keranche Matka Kulfi Islamabad )

Everyone loves desserts of all kinds but there's something about ice cream kulfi that makes everyone happy.  People have an emotional response to kulfi it's more than just a food. Last week we friends made a plan to visit ‘keranche matka kulfi’ and belive me it was one of the best experience. Finally got to see something good with traditional touch. Matka Kulfi is located in F10 near Maroof International Hospital. It is a small shop with open air sitting arrangement. They made ‘khoey wali kulfi’ in matka so named as matka kulfi. As per hype the taste of the kulfi is awesome and the way how they serve is spot on. It is economical not expensive.  I would heartedly prefer the ones who are visiting F 10, that to give a try to this New matka kulfi. Seriously, I still can’t forget those seductive bowls. Man when I took the first spoon, it was surprisingly luscious. Generally, we see that kulfi creates mess but due to those traditional clay pots. The presentation of kulfi was spot on. Its texture worked as sedative on my taste buds!

Its not about the taste but the hygienic factors which they have into account while making the kulfi. Kuddos to the team!

Friendly advice; They should change their name from ‘matka kulfi’ to ‘matki kulfi’ as the size of the bowl is way to small. Still I think it’s a best place for late night hangouts!!

Wonderful experience of Chinese Food in Karachi !!!

 When one hears the word Chinese food, obviously what comes to our mind is the Chinese soup, Chinese rice, Chicken chowmen, and sea food specifically prawns.

But this restaurant serves you more than what you even not know about a true Chinese food except a few trending ones.

Peking Chinese Restaurant is a pure Chinese food point which is located at one of the most crowded areas in Karachi. It is located just at the beginning of the Bahadurabad Area if you come from the route of Agha Khan University Hospital road. It is located at a very prime location just at the area’s starting point.

The owner of this restaurant is Muslim Chinese.  When I first time visited there, they greeted us very politely and with grace. This was very respectful.

There interior is mostly as usual decorated with Chinese handicrafts, paintings which gives a view of the ancient china and that the cutlery is also bought specially from china. It really gives a real feel to an individual of being in china itself. And so was also hypnotized into it!

Not many of the individuals know about this restaurant but when one goes, it really craves to visit the place again and again. Due to its food which hypnotizes a person into real china where you imagine of being there and enjoying their traditional dishes.

Well, let’s jump toward their food.

They serve an excellent variety for Chinese food. Ranging from their soul warming soups to their main course dishes giving us an end to the extras if you want to have some heavy topping.

I’m going to start with their soups which are 3 in total, different from each one another. At first is their classic chicken corn soup. This is no doubt as a top priority for every soup lover. It’s filled with loads of juicy chicken strips, scattered egg whites, sweet corn and fresh green peas. Then comes their hot n sour soup. This soup is filled with marvelous ingredients which give a you crazy, hot and mind blowing taste. This soup is full of small shrimps, egg whites, corns, peas, chicken and hot sauce. Although their some of their food have the same ingredients as others, but the way they prepare and make gives a mind blowing and marvelous experience of their food and its taste. In the end comes their special soup. This soup has all that you can think of. From the toppings of chicken corn soup, to hot n sour soup, and then giving it a unique taste and texture, by adding up tofu in it. This really shoots it taste to the limit which everyone craves for.

Now let’s come towards their main course.

Their main course carries the all favorite chicken egg fried rice, which includes a special kind of minimized shape of rice grain which has a really different taste. It’s worth trying. Then they have the star of their main course, the chicken chow men. Their chicken chowmen is filled with marvelous Chinese food scents. And it’s all made in the special Chinese egg noodles. Which have a totally unique taste.

But wait! Who can forget the mighty prawns? They serve an exquisite variety of king prawns in different forms which include some of their dishes into a whole prawn  either stir fried or grilled and topped into gooey tempting Chinese sauces. This is way out of one’s imagination. And that they also serve prawns into the form of prawn balls which are either filled with a great variety of spices and deep fried, or rolled into the crispy breadcrumbs and baked. These kinds of prawn based dishes also give a unique flavor.

Now as I introduce with their new and unique dishes which seldom people know around, they provide Kung Pao chicken. This dish is based of chicken drum sticks which are prepared into a totally unique and different style. They are deep fried with a thick coated batter. The taste of this dish ravishes every individual there.

And I shall also be mentioning another of their crown dish that is Egg Foo Yung. As the names recalls the word egg, this dish is basically based on chicken or prawns which is mixed with different sliced veggies and spices, and in turn coated up with the egg and baked in oven. This crown dish just makes an individual rise into the cravings of this dish to have it every time when visiting this restaurant.

This restaurant Is always filled with delightful aroma of Chinese food, humble music in the background and with pure Chinese culture based interior.

For the Chinese food lovers, one should definitely give it a try before checking out the rest of the costly Chinese eateries as it provides all of its food in very economical rates.

Chae Lovers take a notice !!!

Last night we have visited a small but unique place for chaye is F7 Islamabad. Yes we are talking about “TANDOORI CHAYE”. Tandoori chaye has become a center of gravity for the chaye lovers of Islamabad. Right middle of F7 which is said to be a very posh area of Islamabad three young boys started making tea with a very unique idea. They prepared the tea in a normal pan and served it in a matki that was heated in a tandoor.

The sitting arrangements are also very unique they placed old stile stools known as “Murha” in Punjabi to sit-in. It was a very nicely presented open air Chaye dhaba which is a fusion of our desi culture and a unique Chaye. It’s a must visit place especially for chaye lovers.

F7 Markaz is a very popular shopping market of Islamabad. People from every sector of Islamabad come here for shopping and they enjoy that special tea. We also witnessed some foreigners sitting over there and enjoying the tea in a desi style. Everybody was enjoying the tea and specially praising the desi theme in a westernized populated area.     

   

Nothing can beat the Swat Shinwari hotel when it comes to the 'Dumba Karahi' (Lamb Karahi). They simply are the best! Swat Shinwari is located on murree road near Murree Express way. The place itself is so comfy surrounded by mountains. Their staff is so welcoming and hospitable. They came 3-4 times to ask if the food is good or not.

When it comes to dhabas you might have this stigma that some dhabas don't offer family dine in or in general are not good for families. Swat Shinwari is here to change that. They have special huts reserved for only families. The dining areas has a very rustic vibe to it due to these special huts.

Best thing about them is that they do live cooking, cut lamb and cook it in front of you according to your taste. Live cooking is bit time consuming. But this delicious food is worth the wait. So if you want to go go their you should have enough time.

Beside ‘Dumba karahi’ We tried their grilled fish & literally it was scrumptious. Perfectly grilled and had no smell at all. Best in the town! Fish was served with Vinegar & chilli sauce making it a perfect combo.

After lamb and fish who can ignore that special 'Peshawari Qeshwa' particularly in these winter nights. Qehwa was served in their traditional pots  with lemon and brown sugar.

Can't wait to try their grilled rack of Lamb 'Dampukhat' on my next visit. Highly Recommended! 

 Dodai Khoray? Wallah many of us, being a semi Desi-Burger generation now a days in this republic nation have not a clue about this word! As it is not in use these days or very seldom.

But let me introduce you with this term. Dodai Khoray is a pure Pashto word which translates into,”Wanna Eat Food?”

Yes! A restaurant in the main heart of Bahria Town Rawalpindi Phase 7 has owned this name. It is located in the food street of Phase7, which is always packed with crowds of people enjoying their quality time having Breakfast dinners, lunch, snacks and what not. Doday Khoray is very next to McDonalds there, where it is easily viewable and accessible for the ones visiting McDonalds as well as visiting the grocery store there in front, “Green Valley”.

Doday Khoray Restaurant s purely based on the culture and food varieties and specialties of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, which holds the north of Pakistan. One will find every kind of Pakhtoon dishes with full exquisite and lavish varieties of food. The interior is packed with Peshawari cultural based handicrafts, designing, sitting area, cutlery and many more.

They serve all kinds of KPK’s special, famous, exquisite, and legendary dishes which range from the tempting Karahi to Special food items all prepared in their traditional processes which includes their key ingredient and flavor that is, Namkeen(Salty).  Most of their dishes are all Namkeen based which adds a wonderful texture and flavor to their savory dishes. In terms, this creates a full imagination and will of enjoying their culture, traditions and at most, their food.

Now let’s venture into their food items in detail,

When it comes to their tempting Karahis, they have Namkeen Lamb, Mutton and chicken karahi, as each of the dishes gives a unique flavor, which hardly any of us can forget. They also serve in simple Lamb, Mutton and Chicken Karahi. For the ones who love less salty food. Why not? So that every one of us can have it with full expectations, esteem and valor.

Now let’s hop into their Prime Shinwari. Shinwari is the main course food in most of the northern regions of Pakistan. Shinwari is almost all based on Lamb and Mutton food dishes. This gives a unique, new and craving flavor to every individual.  The food they offer under this category are Namkeeen Tikka, Juicy Lamb Chops, one of the very few, but flavorsome and excellent dishes up till yet, “Dumpukht”, and a new style of Patta Tikka. Many of you would be wondering that what on earth if this Patta Tikka?

Patta Tikka is actually a dish which comprises of Lamb’s Liver which is coated all around with fat and salt which in turn is roasted on hot burning coal coiled trays. This dish is very tasty as well as a new addition to my food bucket list for sure from now on after having tried it once!.

Well, let’s give a last look, down towards its ending food category which is only based on Specials. In this category of theirs, there are only 3 dishes. One is the most famous dish ever, the legendary Kabuli Pulao. The second dish they offer is the sizzling and juicy Chapli Kebabs.  And the most third most special dish they provide is the most famous dish of Bannu Region, Sohbat. This dish is nearly the same as Kabuli Pulao but having few differences in ingredients except the rest.

Their prices are also somewhat economical, which every family can afford to eat and enjoy.
